Hawkeye Test Entry Information
How much does it cost to enter my dog in a test?
The cost to enter a HAWKEYE NAVHDA test are below, and in addition, the dog's owner must be a registered and current International NAVHDA member.
Entry Fees
NA (Natural Ability) $150.00
UPT (Utility Preparatory Test) $200.00
UT (Utility Test) $200.00
An option to pay entry fees online is given below. Before submitting payment confirm entry by emailing testsecretary@hawkeyenavhda.org and submit required entry forms.
Member Discount
- Existing club members can receive a $25 discount on test entries.
How is my entry handled?
The test entry is not secured until the form and entry fees have been received, priority given on first come, first served basis, many entries come quickly so submitting form and payment does not guarantee a test slot.
Test entries open on the day of the Annual Club Meeting in January. Existing Club Members are prioritized for 14 days after the annual meeting, after which the remaining available test entries are opened for the general public.
What if I need to cancel my entry into the test?
Dogs on a waiting list will be offered the chance to fill a vacant slot in the order the applications were received. Checks will be held until a handler verifies that he/she will take the vacant slot. If the handler passes on the opportunity to fill the vacancy their payment will be returned and the next available dog will be offered the vacant slot.
Refunds
Entries on the waitlist will not be charged, unless a slot becomes available and is accepted by the owner/handler.
Accepted test entries will be reimbursable up to 21 days from the test date. Inside of 21 days the test entries are non-refundable except in instances with a medical reason for either the dog or the handler accompanied by documentation from a vet or doctor.
Payments made by credit card online will be refunded test entry fee only. Convenience Fee is unable to be refunded.
